My 27 Favorite Crypto Resources

Focusing on the crypto world, here's what helps me understand what's happening

The crypto markets can get complicated AF, spanning from on-chain metrics, data analysis, upgrades to networks, and new coins constantly coming out.

The cure to this?

Find great tools and use them.

To save you the pain of looking for your own resources, I’d like to share some of my favorite resources when I’m looking at the crypto markets!

What I’ve got for you:

  • Websites

  • Indicators

  • Charts

🖥️ Websites

    • Understand market sentiment, more people in profit means the market is HOT, and investors in the red means we could still go to the upside

Via Glassnode

  • MVRV Z-Score

    • A quick assessment of a ‘fair’ value for BTC

    • Is it undervalued OR overvalued

Via Glassnode

  • Reserve Risk

    • Risk to reward ratio: If there is less risk, there will be more reward and vice versa

📊 Charts

There are too many charts to post pictures of, so to make this easy, I am going to post the ‘ticker’ symbol of the charts I like using and explain why:

Copy & Paste the ticker symbol (Ex: BTCUSD) and paste into TradingView

  • Effective Federal Funds Rate: FEDFUNDS

  • US Interest Rates: USINTR

  • US Inflation Rate YoY: USIRYY

  • Civilian Unemployment Rate: UNRATE

  • M2 Money Supply: WM2NS

  • US 3-Month Government Bonds Yields: US03MY

  • US 2-Year Government Bonds Yields: US02Y

  • US 10-Year Government Bonds Yields: US10Y

  • US 30-Year Government Bonds Yields: US30Y

  • Bitcoin Dominance: BTC.D

    • Shows the strength of BTC vs. the rest of the crypto market

  • Total Crypto Market Cap: TOTAL

  • Asses Crypto Asset vs. BTC: XXXBTC

    • This is a great way to see if a risky asset provides more reward than BTC

    • XXX = Type in your crypto pair (XXX → ETH, ADA, SOL, XRP, DOGE)

Takeaways

I know that there are a TON of macroeconomic charts to look at in the chart section, and this was supposed to be a crypto-specific post. But, macroeconomics has an enormous influence on the crypto markets; investing in crypto without understanding the macro landscape is like going to war without a gun.

I hope you learned something new from these posts or use some of my resources to help you become a more educated and sound investor.
